Is the UK educational system effective?

The education system in the UK (United Kingdom) is primarily fractionated into four parts primary education, secondary education, further education and higher education. Ahead children from 5 ages have to fairly attend primary and secondary until scholar will turn sixteen years old.  Generally, main stages 1 and 2 will be started at primary school and at 11 years old a student will go onto secondary school and complete main stages 3 and 4. Evaluation of students’ performances is thoroughly scrutinized at each stage. The foremost evaluation happens at the age of sixteen when students run after GCSE's or General Certificate of Secondary Education. After completion of GCSE’s students has to opt further education follows with higher education. With this moment in the sequence, they can enter the working world.  It also comprised work based traineeship. Due to competitive grammar schools, huge talent drains away from comprehensive school. However rich students perceive effective tutorial classes in comparison to poorest which reforms the whole model of the best education in the world.

Different factors such as time and effective measures support the migrate data of UK leavers which represent adult illiteracy as high as 20% of the population and functional innumeracy extended to 40 %. For measuring achievements of 15 age group students The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA)study performance ability of students in mathematics, science etc. but this is buoyed up by the excellent private education system, without which the UK would be performing even worse in the ratings. Basically, the education system is not suitable for the purpose, is lowering the country’s progress.

The British education is planned and plot according to Empire. Let’s take an instance of 1950 and 1960 when public education is converted whole egalitarian and meritocratic, a private education making officers for army or navy at the same time when the public state set global education ranking to other nation. Apart from wealth, children were tested by aptitude and merit. The academic privilege class opt grammar school, while those having technical skills went to technical modern. Sooner private education faded away because of incompetent.

Aftermath the rest came into power for political correctness. Thus election on merit considered as a fallacy. Learning anything was also thought wrong as “liberal” education was introduced. The teachers union manipulated powers were the biggest enemy for education and children. The huge wrought destruction by teachers of state system causes middle classes children separated from the state system and rising of private education. With a rapid moment, the public system programmed their students in socialist ideology such as multiculturalism. The private system taught their students how to be successful in the actual world.

It is considered as political incorrectness for anyone else to be disadvantages for having a degree. Such that polytechnic entered into universities which in turn offered useless and impractical degree randomly. A lot of degrees are significantly useless for both children and the economy.   Most of the polytechnic university alumni soon reached to effective illiteracy because of impractical subjects and highly wrong teaching method. During 1960 education is all about science, technology, engineering and math also abbreviate as STEM. It often served a real value to the entire economy and students’ growth. With the passage of time, these things had been wiped out by academically far easily and ineffective subjects like literacy art. All around, they are entirely useless and costly wastage.

There are numerous teachers who have been become reasons behind these constant flow of defaults in higher education. One bad teacher has a huge impact on the children entire career. The teacher evaluation system is the enhancing procedure to keep an asymmetric record in linear with the removal of awful events. Only then the bar can be raised, with re-education of teachers were relevant or removal from office otherwise, to get brilliant teaching experts. Similarly, a systematic pupil testing evaluation is required so that evaluation is fairly for the bright scholar and the one who is less able. Then we should look at how concepts are communicated and taught in the classroom. Intellectual precision is necessary to learn STEM subjects such that students do deep learning and understand basic concept far easily.

Britain has both excellent private and public school system. The rich-poor pay higher for state education whereas due to poverty poor children have no good teacher or school. Equality of opportunity should be made for all the type of students. Having bad credential of teacher leads two genres of education in the entire college population. The foremost problem is that most of the teachers don’t have significant knowledge of the real world. This creates haughty philosophical beliefs works in the real world.  During this course, such type of philosophy must be removed so that students become able to grasp the clear distinction between comprehending concerns or related disputes. They need to be educated on how they should reflect back on the reverse of their own prejudice or biases. This type of issue leads to unemployment, dysfunctional groups due to the absence of skills which in turn give a direction of recruitment of migrated students.

However, the University of Oxford and The University of Cambridge advocates that the UK has one of the best education systems in the world which is opposite to factual data. They made a change of grading system from lettered grades (A*-U) to numbered grades (9-1). This left a few students puzzle, which grades they should attain. Also, funding is decreasing from the previous year simultaneously the Conservative part pushes to build more and more grammar school.

Summary-

Vicissitudes of UK based education system reformed since 1950. However, most of the things generate several issues which inhibit the growth of students in the right direction. From political incorrectness to teacher and student interaction everything distorted that leads dysfunction groups and unemployment.
